I help raise funds for the American Heart Association (AHA) and I walk because of heroes and survivors, like my dad, Rob Russ.
He had a quadruple coronary bypass surgery in September 2016 that he, luckily survived and was given a second chance with a healthy heart.
I, also help raise funds and walk because of the special loved ones that I have lost from either heart disease, heart attack, or stroke. These special loved ones include my grandpa, Bob Russ, my grandma, Barbra Smith, and my uncle, Todd Zwilling.
It is through this team with raising funds and walking that we are able to honor their memory.
I help raise funds for the AHA because I believe their hard work and dedication towards educating the country about heart attacks and strokes, as well as their extensive research they do and fund with heart disease, heart attacks, and strokes is so important!
I want to thank you for your support and your donations to help celebrate the lives of survivors and honor the lives of those lost from either heart disease, heart attack, or stroke!
It is with your support that the American Heart Association is able to continue their hard work to help keep hearts beating across the country and have more survivors of heart disease, heart attack, and stroke<3
