When I was little, I remember going to the Heart Walk in Atlanta with my Aunt Sally. I also have very fond memories of doing Jump Rope for Heart in elementary school. Skip ahead about two decades and I now have the privilege of working to advance heart healthy and stroke smart policies in DC.
My favorite campaign over the past (almost) three years has, without a doubt, been our work to improve the chain of survival through comprehensive public policies at the federal, state, and local levels.
I am so lucky to work with some truly incredible advocates who came from across the country to share their stories on Capitol Hill earlier this year and with colleagues who continue to amplify our message from DC and back home. The passion, the enthusiasm, and the power of this campaign are simply unmatched.
