My Why is simple. My father.
My Dad, James Kainer, was an amazingly smart, funny, and caring family man. At the young age of 59, he unexpectedly passed from a severe cardiac event and our world was crushed. No obvious symptoms, no noticeable signs, no heads up... just gone. Although he is sorely missed, he is forever in our hearts.
From that moment on, I made it a personal mission to get more involved with the American Heart Association to help educate the public in an effor to save as many lives as possible.
My participation in Heart Walk promotes fun ways to be physically active and make healthier choices every day. Imagine the impact if we reduce death and disability from cardiovascular diseases and stroke by 20 percent by 2020. Please help me reach this lifesaving goal by donating today. Together, we can make healthier, longer lives possible for everyone.
