Macks was born on September 6th, 2013 with Half a Heart (HLHS). Three days later he was taken in for his first open heart surgery. He pushed through and did better than any doctor expected him to. Since then he has had three more open heart surgeries to keep his heart pumping and is living a normal 5 year old life!
