Thanks for coming to my page! If you don't already know, I was born
with a heart defect they call Tricuspid Atresia, Atresia means absence of
an anatomical part of the body, in my case it was an absence of the
tricuspid valve, which connects the Right atrium to the right ventricle,
This caused my heart to develope abnormally and unable to function. I
underwent 2 open heart surgeries, the first was the Glenn procedure
which i had at 2 months and the second procedure was the Fontan which was just before I was enrolled in kindergarten. The surgeries helped my heart function in a better way but there is no fix or cure. Sometimes 1 go in and am left with no answers, not just because of the complexity of the heart but how little we actually know about it. This fundraiser helps raise not only funds but also awareness.
