Throughout my life, I have seen four of my family members combat a genetic heart disease, Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM). HCM is the most common genetic heart disease and impacts 1 in 500 people.
When I was younger, I was terrified of this disease. I was so scared of losing my loved ones because of it. But with the American Heart Association raising both awareness and donations for cardiovascular disease, there is hope that we can help combat heart disease.
It's time to work together and help save lives. By donating to the American Heart Association, more heart research can be performed, better quality of healthcare can be available, and more hope can be spread throughout the community.
With every donation, I feel more and more hopeful that my family's heart disease can be helped, and, maybe one day, cured. Please consider donating to this wonderful cause that has always been so close to my heart. Your donation will help save lives!
