In 2009 when I suffered my first cardiac arrest, Sydney and Maddie were 10 and 8 years old respectively. Sydney celebrated her 10th birthday with family while I was in the hospital. 

I had a cardiac arrest in the kitchen a week before Thanksgiving when the only person at home was Liria who had to call her mom and figure out what to do next. 

All 3 of the girls were regular visitors when I was in the hospital after my open heart surgery. 

I had a cardiac arrest following a family wedding standing just feet from the entire family who witnessed it all. 

My wife Elizabeth has been through all of this, doctors appointments, blue, depressing days, supporting me through all of it. Yes, it's my health struggle, but make no mistake, your family feels a lot of it too.
