I walk because I know with every step, I am making a difference in someone’s life. I named my team A Mother's Heart in honor of my mom. She is proof we need a lot more research on why someone who lives a healthy life can wind up with an unhappy heart. She did everything right and yet her heart is not doing its job. I want my friends and family to join me in honor of members of their family who struggle with heart disease.
