I?m especially passionate about this work because I see firsthand how lack of access to care, early onset of chronic illness, and systemic inequities can steal precious years from our loved ones. With a family history of cardiovascular disease and stroke, I know the 'deck' may be stacked against me but through the work of the Heart Association I have the opportunity to live a longer, healthier life. I want that for everyone in my life - I want that for you, too!
