I walk because the men in my family have all faced some form of heart disease. From high blood pressure, afibrilation, heart attacks, bypass surgeries, stints, artery repair/replacement, and stroke. My father and both Grandfathers have faced these issues for many years.
Most recently, my grandfather, "Papo" passed away at 86 years old, he was a multiple decade survivor of a triple bypass surgery, corrodid artery stints, and a artery replacement in his leg. AHA and the science they've supported with our fundraising dollars undoubtedly saved his life and gave us the extre 20+ years with him.
So, WHY do I walk? I walk for my dad, my Grandpa, for Papo and for my wife and three beautiful daughters Madison, Reese, and Molly. Extend a life today, join us in the Dallas walk, donate to my page online, and tell your friends!
Have a heart and help me reach my goal today!
