I began my work with the AHA Heart Walk 30 years ago, in 1995 working at MetroHealth Medical Center (shown in photo), in memory of my cousin who had his first heart attack at age 27, then another at 32 from which he passed away. The annual AHA HeartWalk became a family tradition! My wife, daughters, brothers, Cleveland Clinic work family and now my grandchildren participate.
In the past, our Cleveland Clinic Corporate Accounting and Decision Support Heart Walk team held various fund raisers and an annual Wine Tasting and Corn Hole event which was always a huge success!
