We are walking to honor the memory and celebrate the life of Kaitlyn Sanders, who left this world too soon at the age of 32 due to a sudden cardiac event.

Kaitlyn lived fully and joyfully. She found happiness in the simple things like relaxing by the pool, traveling with family, cheering for the Dallas Cowboys, or celebrating an Astros victory! She loved concerts, food, and adventures near and far, from beaches in Mexico to stadiums across the country. Music, especially Taylor Swift, held a special place in her heart, and through it she made lifelong friendships.

Kaitlyn was both thoughtful and playful, introspective yet quick to light up a room with her hazel eyes and infectious smile. Fiercely loyal, she forever changed those lucky enough to be in her circle with her love and kindness.

Our team name, Kaitlyn's Forevermores, comes from Taylor Swifts evermore, a symbol of Kaitlyn's enduring spirit and the way she will always live on in us, forevermore. Just as autumn was her favorite season, and Taylor's music her soundtrack, we walk together in her honor. Each step we take celebrates the laughter, warmth, and love that Kaitlyn shared so generously.
