When I was asked to be the Human Resources team coach for this year?s American Heart Association Heart Walk, I didn?t hesitate to say yes. This cause is deeply personal to me?my grandfather has undergone two open-heart surgeries, and my mom?s cousin has experienced a stroke. Their experiences have shown me firsthand the critical importance of heart health and how life-saving resources and research can make all the difference.
Supporting an organization that invests in education, prevention, and treatment for cardiovascular diseases feels like a meaningful way to honor their journeys and help others who may face similar challenges.
