I walk because I know that with every step, I am saving lives.
Lives of people like Jack, the nephew of a friend of mine. He was born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS) and lifesaving breakthroughs have gotten him to his 10th birthday. I have followed his story since his birth. He's a fellow Texan and an inspirational kid who started 5th grade this year!
Funds raised from the Heart Walk have led to scientific breakthroughs like pacemakers, cardiac stents, artificial heart valves, and other technologies that save lives every day. Please join our team and walk with us as we celebrate and support lionhearts like Jack.
