In June 2021, I went to the Emergency room with chest pain and was diagnosed with Nonischemic Dilated Cardiomyopathy with an ejection fraction of 10%. Over the next few months, all traditional advanced heart failure management didn't help improve my heart function, and my only option was to receive a new heart. Because of advanced research, a 5 star cardiology/transplant team, and an incredible support system, I was able to receive a heart transplant and am fortunate enough to participate in this years 2025 heart walk.
Every dollar donated, means more people trained in lifesaving CPR, more research and more lifesaving moments for everyone. Together, we can turn bystanders into lifesavers.
