On Thanksgiving day 2022 I started feeling sick to my stomach. This would progress to back pain and later chest pain. I waited 4 days to go to the doctor. When I finally went I was sent to the ER and was told I was having a heart attack. I had a 99% blockage in my LAD which is sometimes called a widow maker. I had a stent placed in this area but was told I have 2 other blockages they will manage with diet, exercise and medication. 

In April 2025 I had severe chest pain that resolved with nitroglycerin. After months of testing I was diagnosed with  chronic total occlusion of my circumflex artery. In Sept I had another stent placed.

I now continue to walk but also have added riding a bicycle to my exercise.
