2026 OKC Heart Walk
Miles for Mickey's Memory
My cat Mickey was hypertensive with heart disease. He had Hypertrophic Obstructive Cardiomyopathy. Medications from his feline cardiologist improved his condition, giving him a high quality of life for a full year before he ultimately passed away on May 3, 2026.
On May 30th, I will walk 3.2 miles (a 5K) in Mickey’s memory, and to help bring awareness and raise funds for the American Heart Association at the 2026 OKC Heart Walk.
