I am walking to raise awarness and help fund research to find a cure for POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome). After five years of doctor visits, specialists, different medications, and life-debilitating symptoms, I was finally diagnosed with POTS in November.
Living with POTS means learning to take each day as it comes. When people look at me, I appear healthy, happy, and normal, but behind all of that, I am in a constant uphill battle to stay upright, stay alert, control my heart rate, and listen to my body.
My diagnosis has taught me to slow down, persevere, and appreciate the days when I feel strong. I could not have gotten here without the prayers, love, and constant encouragement from my friends and family. They help me find joy on the hard days, and I will forever be thankful for them.
It is my hope that there will be a cure for POTS one day, and I believe participating in the 2026 Heart Walk is a step in the right direction. Help me make this goal a reality by joining my team or donating toward the cause. We are all in this together!
