I am celebrating 10 years with the American Heart Association and continue to walk in support of my daughter, MJ, and other moms like me.

MJ was born early due to undetected preeclampsia during my pregnancy. Shortly after her birth, we learned she also had a congenital heart defect. Today, our family is healthy and thriving, and we are deeply grateful for the life-saving advances in maternal and cardiovascular health championed by the American Heart Association.
