It's pretty simple. I work every day for this mission because of the people I love, the opportunity to spend time with them and celebrate milestones-like my daughter's upcoming college graduation. I work everyday to help spread health education, increase access and improve health outcomes so others can do the same.
My dad was impacted by heart disease and because of American Heart funded research and science, I am fortunate to have had an extra 20 years with him after his heart attack. I wish he could be here to see my daughter graduate college.
