As a pharmacist, I knew the statistics...heart failure impacts over 60 million people globally. I knew people's hearts fail but I didn't ever think it would be my ever vibrant 83 year old mother- in- LOVE just a day before the 2025 Dallas Heart Walk. I had been praying she would make it as I signed up to be a first time coach last year. She was one of my biggest encouragers, always telling me never to quit and to be thankful for life. So this year I walk in memory of her and want to raise funds to support the American Heart Association.
