I walk for my Dad, my Mom, and our patients — because every heartbeat matters.
Nine out of ten people who suffer cardiac arrest outside the hospital do not survive. Too often, bystander CPR is not performed. But together, we can change that.
Cardiac arrest can happen anywhere — at work, at home, on an athletic field, or in the middle of our own neighborhoods. In those moments, the readiness of a community can mean the difference between loss and survival.
That is why this walk is personal to me. I walk in honor of my Dad and my Mom, and for the patients who remind me every day how precious life is. I walk because more training, more awareness, and more research can create more lifesaving moments.
Every dollar donated helps train more people in CPR, supports lifesaving research, and turns bystanders into lifesavers. Whether you join my team, walk with one of the Centre for Neuro teams, participate virtually, or make a donation, you are helping give someone another chance.
Thank you for walking, giving, and helping us reach our goal — together, we can save lives.
