Pete and I are enthusiastically participating in the Dallas American Heart Association walk again this year for the 4th year! This year hits differently, as I had heart surgery 7 months ago to correct some issues with my heart.
4 years ago...that is when I started my heart journey. Through this time, I had an ischemic stroke, we discovered I had atrial fibrillation, a severely leaking mitral valve, ruptured "heartstrings" (chordae tendinae) and a hole between my heart chambers. Through organizations like American Heart Association, groundbreaking research is happening consistently to help people like me and possibly you and your family members get through these heart related issues and live a full and meaningful life.
102 years...that's how long the American Heart Association has been in existence and helping countless people.
We would really appreciate your financial support of our walk team on October 17. Click on or type in your preferred donation level above. Thank you guys so much! ♥
