I was born with Tetrology of Fallot.

A congenital heart defect causing the valve to not have developed properly, resulting in blood swishing back and forth instead of flowing if flowing through the heart and into the body. I had my first open heart surgery at 2 years old. Recovered, and even had a dance career from 11-18 years old. Felt super weak again, and had my second open heart

surgery at 20 years old. The second one was life changing simply because I remembered it. I vowed to never take the gift of life for granted again.

I'm able to move my body and pump that heart, so I will!
