2026 Dallas Heart Walk
Driven by Heart
Heart disease isn't just a statistic for me-it's personal.
On my mom's side of the family, I've seen firsthand how serious heart health can be. My grandmother lost her life to a heart attack, and that loss is something our family still feels today. It's a powerful reminder of why awareness, prevention, and research matter so much.
My mom has faced her own heart journey. She had a stent placed, and while that could have slowed her down, she refused to let it define her. Today, at 81 years old, she's thriving-active, strong, and full of life. She inspires me every day.
Her strength motivates me to take care of my own heart, too. I stay active because I want a healthy future-for myself and for the people I love-and to do everything I can to reduce my own risk.
That's why I'm passionate about the American Heart Association Heart Walk.
I'm walking to honor my grandmother, celebrate my mom, and protect my own heart health, while supporting the millions of families affected by heart disease.
Now I'm asking you to join me.
Whether you walk beside me, donate, or simply help share our mission, you're making a difference. Together, we can raise awareness, fund life-saving research, and help more families have more time with the people they love.
Let's be Driven by Heart-for our family, for our future, and for every life we can help save.
