We are proud to be a team of Animal Care professionals, along with our family members, from UT Southwestern Medical Center participating in the American Heart Association Heart Walk.

Every day, we play a vital role in supporting biomedical research that advances the understanding, prevention, and treatment of disease. Many of the studies conducted at UT Southwestern contribute to the development of new therapies, medications, and medical procedures that have the potential to improve and save lives, including those affected by heart disease and other cardiovascular conditions.

Heart disease impacts millions of individuals and families, and many of us have been touched personally by its effects. Participating in the Heart Walk allows us to come together in support of the American Heart Association's mission to fund lifesaving research, educate communities, and create healthier futures.
