Heart disease runs in my family, but it wasn't until it began affecting my dad that I truly realized how important heart health is. Watching him go through this journey has made me much more aware of the impact heart disease can have on an entire family.

My dad is my hero. His strength, resilience, and determination inspire me every day. I want him to know that he is not facing this alone. I am standing beside him every step of the way, supporting him, encouraging him, and fighting with him through every challenge.

Participating in the Tarrant County Heart Walk is more than just an event for me—it's a way to honor my dad, raise awareness, and support the fight against heart disease. Together, we will keep moving forward, and together, we will get through this.
