First and foremost, I want to thank my donor and his family. Because of their beautiful gift, I received my new heart on Valentine's Day-February 14th, 2025. It has been about a year and a half. Its been a long, hard journey. But I am here today to WALK FOR A BEAT !!!!
I want to give the highest praise to Dr. kheratien and the entire transplant team at Baylor Scott & White Temple. If it wasn't for their incredible hands, skill, and care, I truly would not be standing here today. They are my heroes.
