Ryleigh was born with a congenital heart defect called Subaortic Stenosis (SAS). A heart murmur at birth led to early follow ups, and at just one month old she received her diagnosis. SAS causes a membrane to grow beneath the aortic valve, creating a dangerous blockage.

Since then, Ryleigh has bravely faced two open heart surgeries, showing more strength and resilience than most people face in a lifetime.
