My Why ❤️
For me, the Heart Walk is more than just a walk. It's personal. It's my passion. It's my purpose.
As a cardiologist, I have dedicated my career to helping people live longer, healthier lives. Every day, I see firsthand how cardiovascular disease affects individuals and families, but I also see the incredible power of prevention, education, and hope.
My passion for heart health goes beyond the walls of my office. Losing my father taught me just how precious life is and how important it is to cherish every heartbeat. My own journey of losing 85 pounds, transforming my health, and discovering my strength reinforced my belief that small changes can lead to extraordinary transformations.
For over 20 years, the American Heart Association and the Heart Walk have held a special place in my heart. Now, as Chair of the Northwest Harris County Heart Walk, I have the privilege of turning that passion into action and inspiring others to take charge of their health.
I walk for my patients. I walk for my father. I walk for the families who have lost loved ones too soon. And I walk for a future where more people have the opportunity to live longer, healthier, happier lives.
My life's mission is to improve health, inspire optimism, and remind others that it's never too late to make a positive change.
Every step matters. Every heartbeat matters. And together, we can make a difference.
Please join me in supporting the American Heart Association. Let's walk together toward a world of healthier hearts and brighter tomorrows! ❤️
