My name is Kelsi Rogers and my daughter's name is Kamryn Rogers. We walk for my husband and Kamryns father who passed away in April of 2024. He suffered from a heart attack caused by hypertensive and atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease. He passed away at the age of 37, one year after we had our first daughter Kamryn. We tried for 10 years for our girl. We walk to help prevent this from happening to another family. We want to bring awareness to heart health and cardiovascular care. We thank Jesus for the peace he gives us but we wish Daniel was here. He had a huge heart, and his nickname was Big D. So in true fashion, we are "Heart As BIG As D"
