The American Heart Association is important to me because heart health has deeply touched my family and shaped my life. My grandparents were a huge part of my life, and the love, guidance, and memories they gave me will always hold a special place in my heart.
My grandmother suffered from heart disease, and watching her experience the challenges that came with it made me understand how serious heart health can be. My grandfather suffered from a stroke, which also had a lasting impact on our family. Seeing two people I loved so deeply affected by cardiovascular disease made this cause personal for me.
Supporting the American Heart Association means supporting efforts to prevent heart disease and stroke, educate families, promote healthier lives, and improve outcomes for people facing these conditions. It also gives me an opportunity to honor my grandparents and the important role they played in my life.
My connection to the American Heart Association is more than just a cause—it is personal. I want to help raise awareness, encourage people to take care of their heart health, and support research and education that can help prevent other families from experiencing the pain that mine has experienced. In honor of my grandparents, I am proud to support the American Heart Association and its mission to create healthier lives and stronger communities.
