As the 2027 Legacy Chair of the Denver Heart Walk, I’m honored to help lead an effort that is deeply personal to me.
Heart disease isn’t just a statistic for my family. A number of people I love have faced heart-related challenges, which is why I’m proud to support the lifesaving work of the American Heart Association. Their work helps advance research, education and resources that give people the opportunity to live longer, healthier lives.
The need is urgent. Nine out of 10 people who experience cardiac arrest outside of a hospital do not survive. In many of those cases, bystander CPR is not performed.
Together, we can help change that.
Cardiac arrest can happen anywhere: at work, at home, on an athletic field or in our neighborhoods. When it happens, having someone nearby who is prepared to act can mean the difference between life and death.
That’s why I’m asking you to join me.
Every contribution helps support lifesaving CPR education, critical research and the work needed to create more lifesaving moments in communities like ours. Together, we can help turn more bystanders into lifesavers.
I walk for my family. I walk for our community. I walk to save lives.
Please consider supporting the 2027 Denver Heart Walk with a donation, by joining us for the Walk, or by rallying your organization alongside us.
Together, we can make a difference. Help me reach my goal and save more lives.
