I'm running 100 miles for hearts
I got my first pacemaker when I was 7 years old. Now I'm on my fourth one.
That doesn't make me a victim or a "survivor." It makes me really lucky.
And also really grateful for the work of the American Heart Association, which helped invent the first pacemaker and support continued advances.
So, for my part, I am raising money by running 100 miles (not all at once) leading up to the Austin Heart Walk.
AHA is working for longer, healthier lives for ALL. Including national and local funding to break down the barriers to health equity.
If you're able, I'd appreciate any support you can give to this lifesaving and life-changing organization. ❤
