My daughters are Why! Join me in supporting the American Heart Association!
In July of 2023, I went in to the ER with some minor discomfort expecting a quick discharge, Several tests and scans later and I was being admitted to Cardiology department because of a Anomolous Coronary Artery Defect i've had since birth. After months of tests and appointments it was decided that I should have Open Heart Surgery to help prevent complications as I got older. So November 2nd 2023, right before the 2023 Heart Walk I had Open Heart Bypass surgery. Now as I prepare for the 2024 walk I'm filled with more motivation then ever to spread awareness and raise money for such an amazing Cause. I've always felt a connection to AHA and now I know why.
That being said, my participation in the Heart Walk always has special meaning to me. As a father to two beautiful girls and a husband to my beautiful high school sweetheart of a wife, I came to the realization that I need to be on this earth for as long as possible. The first step to that for me is my continued participation in the AHA Greater Washington Heart Walk and my own personal heart health. I hope that by participating that I can promote a physically active lifestyle and continue to make healthier choices every day.
Please help me reach this lifesaving goal by donating today. Together we can make healthier, longer lives possible for everyone!
Thank you in advance for the support!
