In 2015 I gave birth to my only child after several disappointing miscarriages. It was a rough pregnancy several trips to the emergency rooms with some overnight stays. I suffered with Hyperemesis gravidarum. After birth my feet was still swollen barely slept and had trouble walking. I could barely hold my baby and walk. Just took as normal new mom stuff. Time to head back to work visited my family doctor. He thought a possible blood clot sent to get a scan. I didn't get an appointment right away. So when i finally went they did the test, walking out the door and the tech come running out to get me to review my scans. I had fluid around my heart and he didn't want to wait for my doctor to call me. Sent me to the ER, I was 35, with a new born in heart failure. I suffer from Post Partiuim Cardiomyopathy. Wow!! Im doing much better and my son is 7. My husband, son our family is my why.
