I walk in honor of my father, Michael J. Beshada, who suffered 3 heart attacks and a debilitating stroke all before the age of 52. As an employee of HCA Hospitals I wanted to contribute to the great work our hospitals do to promote heart care AND honor the memory of my father. The American Heart Association affords me the opportunity to do both. Every step I take and every dollar I raise promotes will promote research to keep hearts beating and helps people live longer, healthier lives. Together, we CAN have a positive impact toward curing heart disease and stroke.
