Saving and improving lives can be as simple as taking a walk. And I know I'm making a difference in the lives of others by participating in the Dallas Heart Walk. The picture included on my page is from 2013. I worked all through college at Ross Dress for Less, and every year, we have an annual fundraiser for the American Heart Association.
I was tasked to ask customers as they were leaving to donate a dollar, round up, or give whatever they felt led to offer to help propel the mission of AHA to "Build healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke." Who knew I would continue that mission years later by working for the American Heart Association and using my talents to help build a healthier world?
But it's not just my efforts alone that will one day help us see a world free of heart disease and stroke. I am walking with a team of heart heros because we will have an even greater impact. And you can help us change the world, one step at a time, by donating to my fundraiser for the Dallas Heart Walk in September!
Your donation will fund groundbreaking research that keeps hearts beating and helps people enjoy longer healthier lives. I can't do it alone.
Have a heart and help me reach my goal today!
