Parker “PK” Straessle is our Why.
Our son PK was born on September 1, 2022. PK was born with a rare congenital heart disease. He was given a 20% chance of making it through the first day. After multiple surgeries, our mighty warrior got to be here with us for one whole month. PK passed away on October 1, 2022. We walk to honor our baby boy and help fund scientific research and advances that prevent and treat heart disease. The beautiful gift that was Parker’s life wouldn’t have been possible without donations that fund this research. If we can make a difference in one persons life by participating, it would mean the world to our family. We will be walking on April 29, 2023.
