Forty-two years ago, I lost my dad to a heart attack. It was a life-changing event that instilled in me the importance of heart health. The hereditary factor is always a concern, which is why I've consistently supported the American Heart Association throughout my life. My dad's granddaughter recently started working for them, and I know he would be immensely proud of her - perhaps he even had a hand in it.
On May 31st, I'll be participating in the OKC Heart Walk, and I'd love for you to join me. You could walk alongside me, volunteer, or if you're unable to participate, any contribution would be appreciated.
Remember, knowing your blood pressure and cholesterol levels, and staying active are key to a healthy heart.
Thank you for your support.
