I am very proud to once again be walking in the American Heart Association’s Bay Area Heart Walk. This year, I am serving as Executive Champion for KPMG and have joined the Bay Area City-Wide Challenge.
The City-Wide Challenge consists of 150 Bay Area community members who have pledged to raise $1,500,000 for the American Heart Association (AHA). The focus of the 2019 City-Wide Challenge is to raise funds to fuel the AHA’s local youth health equity initiatives, including ending the sale of flavored tobacco targeted at our youth, which can have a significant impact on the health of the Bay Area and our future generations. It is alarming that 3 million children still use tobacco products today, and 2 million of them are using e-cigarettes due to the enticing flavors available such as cotton candy, sour gummy worm, and M&M, just to name a few.
Thank you for supporting me and my fundraising efforts this year? My personal pledge is to raise $10,000 toward our ambitious and impactful $1,500,000 goal.
Thank you in advance for your support!
