I survived a heart attack when I was 31-years old. While on a 60-mile bike ride, I experienced symptoms of heart attack that I had no idea were related to my heart. Lucky for me, my friend didn't take "no" for an answer when he insisted that I go to the hospital. I had a blood clot in my coronary artery that would have ended my life had I not gone to the hospital. Since then, I have been on a mission to raise awareness about heart disease, educate people to proactively protect their heart health, and help others ignite their inner light.
