Wanda's Story:
Wanda suffered from several Transient Ischemic Attacks (TIA), also know as mini strokes. TIA's are brief stroke like attacks where there is a temporary artery blockage in the brain. Her symptons included weakness on one side of the body, drooping on one side of her face, vision problems and slurred speech. She also suffered from two brain aneurysms, in which one was repaired.
On Feb 20, 2018, Wanda went into surgery to have her 2nd aneurysm corrected. Shortly after surgery she had an Ischemic Stroke, which temporarily paralyzed the left side of her body for several months. After going through intense rehabilitation and physical therapy, she was able to regain her mobilization with the assistance of a walking cain. After regaining her mobilization, Wanda began to have seizures; a long term side effect of the Ischemic Stroke.
Our adored and loved Wanda made her heavenly transition on May 6, 2021 after sudden stroke and seizure complications.
