Team KSO – Stepping Up for Heart Health

At the Kinesiology Club–Special Olympics (KSO) at Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi, we believe in the power of movement, community, and compassion. This year, we’re lacing up our sneakers and joining the American Heart Association Heart Walk to fight heart disease and stroke—the #1 and #5 leading causes of death in the U.S.

For us, the Heart Walk is more than just an event—it’s a chance to stand together for our loved ones, friends, and community members who have been impacted by heart health challenges. Every step we take helps fund lifesaving research, support heart-healthy initiatives, and inspire people to make lasting lifestyle changes.
