The American Heart Association’s Greater Akron Heart Walk, along with other large public gatherings in Akron, has been canceled by Akron Mayor Shammas Malik due to safety concerns raised by city council members. We are working to determine an alternate date to celebrate the Heart Walk and will communicate that with our walkers in the coming days.
