Join us in participating in our 10th Heart Walk together. Not only are we on a mission to help the AHA raise life-saving dollars to end heart disease and stroke, but we're going to have fun doing it!
This year we are holding a hybrid event which means you can join us in Pleasanton on Wednesday, September 18th fat 9:45am PST or walk with us from wherever you might be that day!
We're kicking off the Heart Walk this year with a Stretch from our partner, Oracle Fitness Center. In fact, look for more information soon about the Oracle Fitness Center Walk Challenge which is sure to get you ready to walk 2 miles for the 2024 Heart Walk!
Follow these steps to join our team:
Once you've joined our team, we would ask for your help in raising awareness on the importance of connecting with health and if you choose, donating to support this cause. The Heart Association provides all the tools, including your personal fundraising page.
Make sure you capture your name, donation date, and donation amount. Search for American Heart Association – Select the Dallas, TX location (they will credit your gift to your page/team) . Input your donation amount and date of donation. Upload a PDF or screenshot of your receipt that was emailed to you after your gift was made. In the Comments for Charity section, enter 2024 Bay Area Heart Walk – Oracle Pleasanton Steppers. Select Confirm Match Request.
3. Please register with the
Oracle Volunteer Portal. This vital step makes sure that we've covered for your participation in this event.
4. Invite your co-workers to walk with you in-person or virtually.
