Always being a super active healthy person, I never thought I'd be a survivor of a stroke & heart transplant. I can say though, I recently celebrated the 1 year anniversary of my heart transplant! My stroke happened 11 Days prior to my transplant. It affected my whole right side but after a lot of hard work & determination, I'm now able to be an advocate for survivors & educate people about heart health.
