My name is Lea Rummel and I am a Project Electrical Estimator at Rudolph and Sletten. I have been a Heart Walk Coach for the 209 Heart & Stroke Walk for 6 years. I am excited to coach a team for the Sacramento walk this year with our R&S Women BuildRS group!
My Mom is my "Why". November 26, 2017, we lost my mom to heart disease complications (specifically, atherosclerosis). I've always known that heart disease is the number one killer of women, but I never thought it would impact my family so directly. My mom was only 52 when she died so unexpectedly. My mom even walked with me at the 209 Heart & Stroke Walk in 2017, less than two months before she died. This is a cause that she was also passionate about. Who will you walk for?
