On August 23, 2015, my dad, Tim Keen had a heart attack and passed away at the young age of 40 years old. I was 17 at the time, and my sister Ashley was only 10. It’s a loss that changed our lives and unfortunately, it’s a story that happens far too often. Every 40 seconds, someone in the US will have a heart attack. Cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death in US.

As we approach the 10-year anniversary of my dad’s passing, I’m honored to represent Kforce and support Keck’s team at the American Heart Association’s 2025 Los Angeles Heart & Stroke Walk.
