I am fundraising for my family and friends who have been affected by heart disease and stroke. My late father, who underwent triple bypass surgery; my son-in-law, who had open-heart surgery as a child to repair a hole in his heart; my grandmother and cousin, who both survived strokes; and most recently, my neighbor Jenell, who we sadly lost this past April.
I'm walking in their honor and to help save lives. Please join me at the walk! And if you're not able to, a donation of any amount helps bring us closer to a community where our family and friends can live free of heart disease and stroke.
9 out of 10 people who suffer cardiac arrest outside the hospital die. In most of those cases, bystander CPR was not performed. But we can change this. ?
Cardiac arrests happen at work, in homes, on athletic fields and in neighborhoods everywhere, and the readiness of our community can be the difference between life and death. ?
It's time to unite, take action, and save lives. Every dollar donated, means more people trained in lifesaving CPR, more research and more lifesaving moments for everyone. Together, we can turn bystanders into lifesavers.?
I Walk to Save Lives. Help me reach my goal today.?
